On July 25, 1938, one of the world’s most beautiful women, figure skating diva and dancing machine, Sharon Marie Harvey was born in Saginaw, Michigan. On May 19, 2025, in Johns Creek Georgia, while holding her youngest daughter, Stephanie Ann Kwiatkowski Hight’s hand and with her grandson, Jacob Hight, “Iceman” she died. She is the daughter of the late Francis T. and Marie J. ( Simon) Harvey. One of her happiest moments of her life was reciting, as a little girl, “Lovely Lady Dressed in Blue” with her dad proudly watching. She was married to Victor A. Kwiatkowski, her loving husband of 42 years, on July 21, 1962 after being set up by Vic’s brother Harry. Her first words when she saw this handsome Pulaski Hall Bartender was, (Harry, why didn’t you tell me your brother looked like that ?) He predeceased her April 19, 2005. Sharon was a devoted member of St. Brigid Catholic Church in Alpharetta, Georgia.
They went on to have, Kristine (Carl) Schoenow, the beauty that made her a mom ; Victor Kwiatkowski Jr. and his wife Holly, the baby boy she would have special Tony’s dates with; Stephanie and Ted Hight III, who she lived her last years with along with her four hockey playing grandsons, Teddie, Peter, Jacob and Victor; also surviving are grandchildren, Alyssa, Brittany, Paul, William, Reagan, Dakota, and Sierra; and two great- grandchildren, Beau and Emma ; one brother and two sisters, Dale Harvey, Pam Harvey, Barb Ribble; several nieces and nephews. Sharon was preceded in death by her brother, Tom Harvey.
Funeral Liturgy will take place 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Rd., Saginaw. Rev. Fr. Peter Gaspeny will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit at the Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., Saginaw, Michigan, where the family will be present on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass.
