Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother was called home to be with her heavenly father, surrounded by her family on January 26, 2024.  She was 87 years old.  Janet Lee Brush was born on March 31, 1936 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Clifford and Eva (Burgess) Brush. She was a 1954 graduate of Arthur Hill High School, in Saginaw.  She married the love of her life, Donald James Emeott Sr. at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Saginaw on June 26, 1954; he predeceased her on April 27, 2021.  After their eight children were all enrolled in school, Janet was employed as a school bus driver for Swan Valley Schools. Loving mother, grandmother, daughter and sister passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Covenant HealthCare. Age 62 years. Daughter of Carol (Balewicz) Waier and late Emmett Waier, Karen was born June 2, 1961 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was a member of the Catholic Faith. Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother went to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 3, 2024. Age 95 years. Daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Frontiera) Ciaramitaro, Christina was born February 2, 1928 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was married to Joseph DiMercurio on May 10, 1951. Melvin B. Skillman, a cherished member of the Shields community, was born into eternal life at his home on the evening of Monday, January 1, 2024. He was born on April 11, 1935, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, and lived a life filled with love, passion, and dedication. Mel was 88 years young. He attended school in Oscoda and later graduated from Central Michigan University. (click here for more information)
