Jim was bigger than life in all he did and never did anything halfway. He was a cash crop and dairy farmer in Fremont township for many years…an occupation that he had a passion for. The land was his life and he passed that passion on to all who met him. He farmed 100 acres initially and later farmed his brother’s farm. Daughter of Mary Eleanor (Theisen) & Earl Julius Winters, Joan was born in Saginaw, MI December 4, 1952. A good and faithful servant, Joan worshipped our Lord and found great peace in her faith. Josephine joined her loved ones in heaven after a long and full life on June 18, 2025 with her daughter by her side. She was born January 5, 1924 in Ithaca, Mi to Anthony and Mary Chomas, one of ten children to Polish immigrants. Josephine married Francis McCliggott on November 23, 1946 and they were married for 61 years until his death. Together they had three daughters, twins Janet and Patricia, and two years later Bev. Loving mother, grandmother and sister passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025 at Covenant Harrison. Age 78 years. Daughter of the late Albert and Arlene Philopulos, Judith was born April 14, 1947, in Bay City, Michigan. She was married to Floyd L. VanBrunt on January 10, 1970. Judy was a proud LPN at many nursing homes, doctor’s offices, hospitals and Visiting Nurses Association. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and Michigan Nurses Association.
