Joseph Dingman
Joseph Dingman, beloved son of Melbourne Dingman and Barbara (Wenzel) Dingman was born on February 8, 1953, in Saginaw, Michigan. He passed away on June 23, 2024, in Saginaw, surrounded by his loving family.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, brother Glenn Dingman, and sister Eva Fader. Despite the sorrow of their absence, he leaves behind a legacy of love and strength that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Joe is survived by Dolly Dingman, his brother, Timothy Dingman, and his children: Karie Dingman, Tammy (Richard) Farmsworth, and Jason Dingman. He was a proud grandfather to Timmy (Mollilyn), Dustin (Carolynn), Anthony (Jennifer), Kelsey, Heather, Courtney, Alexis, Josh, Jailynn, Cameron, and Jason Jr. Additionally, he cherished his great-grandchildren: Ashley, Aubrey, Amelia, Kaiden, Keagan, Anthony Jr, Payton, and Brooklynn. Also survived by his nearest and dearest friend Hoss. Together they enjoyed watching the hallmark channel. (Hoss may have been forced)
Joe attended Hemlock High School and later became a Jack of all trades in his employment history. He had a passion for fishing, hunting, working on cars, and cheering for Detroit sports teams. However, his greatest joys in life were his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed taking long drives down back roads, watching cowboy shows, and sharing stories of the past with those he loved.
Known for his straightforward nature, Joe told it like it was and never held back. He will be remembered for his honesty, sense of humor, and the love he had for his family and friends.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Joe Dingman will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 29, 2024, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church 1035 N. River Road, Saginaw, with Fr. Peter Gaspeny officiating. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
