The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Roman Catholic fraternal service organization. Founded in the United States in 1882, it is named in honor of Christopher Columbus and dedicated to the principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism. The Fr. Robert W. Davey Council 8808 is made up of members from Holy Spirit Parish. 2021 MI K of C Tootsie Roll Drive Recap Update

Due to COVID-19 restrictions and regulations we had to adjust how we do this very crucial and important service of charity for those with mental disabilities. Thankfully with the grace of God and a loving and generous community we raised $2,573.86 for the Special Olympics and for the local Diocese of Saginaw SPRED program. This was all done at the 7-Elevens in the Thomas Township on the Friday of March 26th and after after all of the Masses on the weekend of April 17-18th. On Monday, May 24, 2021 we were proud to present the check to Sister Elaine and Marcia, who operate the SPRED program in the Diocese of Saginaw, with the $2,000 check to the program.

2021 Free Throw Contest Results

Thank you everyone who particpated in the Free Throw Contest on Sunday, January 17 at 12:30 pm. Without your participation we would not have had a successful event. It was held at Holy Spirit Parish in the Gym and was open to all boys and girls in the age range of 9 to 14 years old. The winners of the contest this year are :

2020 Keep Christ in Christmas Poster Contest Results

K of C Christmas Display 2020 - Robert's Park

Our Knights of Columbus 8808 Father Davey Council was invited by Thomas Township to setup its' Nativity Scene Display at their new Drive Thru Christmas display for 2020. The Thomas Township Drive Thru Chrismas display at Roberts Park will open Sunday, December 6, 2020 at 6:00 pm. A link for the address to the event is provided by clicking here. October 24, 2020 Fall Cleanup Recap

On Saturday, October 24, 2020 we had a great team of volunteers show up throughout the time frame of 10 am to 12:30 pm to clean up the parish grounds. On this day the areas we focused our efforts at the front of the parish. We thank everyone who came out to cleanup our parish grounds.

On Sunday, January 19, 2020 we hosted our annual Free Throw Contest. We would like to thank all of the families and Knights who were able to make this event possible for the youth who participated.
