Judith "Judy" VanBrunt

Loving mother, grandmother and sister passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025 at Covenant Harrison. Age 78 years. Daughter of the late Albert and Arlene Philopulos, Judith was born April 14, 1947, in Bay City, Michigan. She was married to Floyd L. VanBrunt on January 10, 1970. Judy was a proud LPN at many nursing homes, doctor’s offices, hospitals and Visiting Nurses Association. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and Michigan Nurses Association. Judy enjoyed shopping, fall color trips, family game night, spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

 Surviving to cherish her memory are two sons and one daughter; Bryce (Krista) VanBrunt, Brett VanBrunt and Brittanie (Michael) Lotz and their father Floyd L. VanBrunt; five grandchildren, Brooke, Hunter, Ryley, Cadyn and Greyson; two step grandchildren, Michael and Rodney; one sister, Alicia Haske; many nieces and a nephew. Judy was preceded in death by one daughter, Ashleigh and one son, Justin.

 Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2025, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Rd., Saginaw, Michigan. Rev. Fr. Peter J. Gaspeny will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church, where the family will be present on Friday, June 13, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass. The Michigan Tri City Nurse Honor Guard will have a walk thru at 10:00 a.m. at the church.
