Margaret Lichon
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt passed on to enjoy eternal life with God. She passed away September 24, 2020 at 99 years old. Margaret Agnes DeCaire Thompson Lichon was born June 4, 1921 in Saginaw, Michigan, the daughter of the late Chester and Ann DeCaire. She married Kenneth Thompson, he predeceased her. She married Edward J. Lichon on January 6, 1968, he predeceased her in September of 2018. (for more information click here)
Caitlyn Q. (VanGelderen) Herr
Caitlyn Q. (VanGelderen) Herr, 31, of Battle Creek, formerly of Bay City, our loving, kind, amazing, and most brilliant wife, mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, and friend was born into eternal life on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor. Caitlyn was born in Bay City on September 13, 1989, the daughter of Dr. Jeffrey Theodore VanGelderen and the former Carmen Carpenter. She was a graduate of All Saints High School and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from Kalamazoo College in Chemistry and was currently a Graduate Student in Biochemistry at Michigan State University, where she was also currently working as a Teaching Assistant. Betty Catherine Egerer
Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 20, 2020. She was 95 years old. Betty Catherine Ferchau was born on August 7, 1925, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Chester M. and Margaret (Girard) Ferchau. She married the love of her life, Warren Michael Egerer on June 29, 1946, at Holy Family; he preceded her in death on April 9, 2010. Betty was employed with Baker Perkins for 10 years and later with Swan Valley Community Schools for 20 years. Betty was a faithful member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church where she volunteered in many of the parish activities. She was a member of the League of Catholic Women, St. Mary’s Hospital Auxiliary, East Side Soup Kitchen, VA Medical Center, and American Legion Post 439 Auxiliary. (for more information click here)
