Cynthia Carolyn Marcoux 

 Passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022.  Age 76 years.

The daughter of the late Olga (Schumm) and Otto Stroebel was born August 7, 1945 in Saginaw, Michigan. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School at 16 years of age with the Class of 1962. She was an exchange student in Ireland.   Cynthia graduated from Central Michigan University with her Master’s in Education degree. She taught in the Saginaw Public Schools for many years and was a member of the N.E.A; M.E.A. and served as President of the Saginaw Education Association. She also taught conversational English in Japan and hosted several Japanese exchange students. Cynthia was a member and President of Pit and Balcony and a Commander in the U. S. Power Squadron. She was very involved in her community. She enjoyed camping, boating, baseball, puzzles, traveling and crafting. Most of all, she enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.

  Surviving are her partner of 38 years, Howard Deal, a son, Craig and Christa Marcoux; a daughter Renee Marcoux; three stepchildren, Becky Deal; Howard Jr. and Julie Deal; Chris and Jenny Deal; her grandchildren, Noah and Kelsi Marcoux; Mekaia and Marquise Moore; Brittney Beau and Hannah Deal; Chase Crooks; her great grandchildren, Trenton and Tynleigh; her inlaws, Mary Margaret and Ben Fletcher; Cheryl and Greg Becker; Pat Deal; several nieces and nephews. A sister and brother, Virginia Neville and George Stroebel have predeceased her.

 The funeral service will take place at Noon Thursday, July 28, 2022, at the  W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Friends may visit with family at the chapel from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
