OCIA
OCIA – Order of Christian Initiation of Adults
(formerly known as RCIA)
Some people say this process is the best kept secret in the Catholic Church. Some of the reasons for this might be: you can learn about all those things you were wondering about, hear teachers give explanations and interact with them when you have questions, learn about the different prayers and their meaning, go through the parts of the Mass in slow motion, find out what Catholics really believe about Mary, and so many other topics. If you would like to know more about the Catholic Faith, please call and we will be happy to assist you.
When is the best time to become part of the OCIA Process? Since we have a year-round process, the right time is when you and God decide the time is right! When you have been thinking about it repeatedly, wondering what you need to do, asking in your heart, is this for me, then it would be good to check it out.
OCIA is for anyone who has never been baptized, or who has been baptized in another faith denomination, or who has been baptized Catholic but with no further catechesis. This process is for any adult, or youth beyond the age of 7 years.
Just give us a call, no pressure; we will do what we can to assist you.
