Thomas "Tom" Rossi

Thomas Gerard Rossi, 64, was reunited with the love of his life, Jackie, on October 21, 2022.

Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on April 24, 1958, to Abraham and Anne (Palazzolo) Rossi. He graduated from Swan Valley High School in 1976, and then went on to receive an associates degree at Delta College. Tom worked for his family’s business, J.B. Rossi/Bay Area Interiors, for many years.

He loved cooking, baking, playing his bass guitar, and watching sporting events, but most importantly he loved his family with everything he had. Tom had many health issues over the last few years and always remained positive. He never complained about anything that life threw at him and was always smiling, and thankful to be alive.

Tom is survived by his three children: Nicole (Sal) Hernandez, Brandon (Jennifer) Rossi, and Chloe (Michael) Igaz; five grandchildren: Maisen, Olivea, Jamesen, Jack, Kendell, as well as another grandson on the way; mother, Anne Rossi; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, many extended family and family friends.

He was predeceased by his wife, Jackie, and his father, Abraham.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Palya and also to the staff at DaVita Towne Center, Great Lakes Pace, and Community Village for their excellent care for Tom over the last few years.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church 1035 N. River Road. Rev. Fr. Peter J. Gaspeny will officiate. Miller Road on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 6:30 p.m. led by Pastoral Minister Kathy Myles.
