Walking with Moms in Need is a nationwide, Catholic parish-based initiative to increase support for pregnant and parenting mothers in need. It works to ensure that any woman who finds herself unexpectedly pregnant, or parenting in difficult circumstances, can turn to her local Catholic church and be connected with the resources she needs. Volunteers walk with moms throughout the motherhood journey, offering them authentic Christian friendship and ongoing support.
The moms we serve are in need of basic items, such as; food, formula, gas, etc. What is most helpful is to have Meijer, Walmart, Amazon or Kroger gift cards available that can be given in emergency situations. Donations of gift cards are always welcome as the parish does not give cash to those in need. You can find the collection box for gift cards on the counter of the information booth. If you would like to volunteer, contact Anne Marie Sauve at amsauve61@gmail.com.
