Nancy K. Swanson

Beloved mother, grandmother and sister passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Medilodge of Mt. Pleasant, with her family at her side; at the age of 81 years.

The daughter of the late Omer Joseph and Mary Anna (Wykrentek) Nass, Nancy was born on October 11, 1938 in Saginaw, Michigan. Nancy married Robert A. Swanson on June 29, 1957 in Saginaw, Michigan. They shared 58 wonderful years together. Nancy was preceded in death by Bob on October 14, 2015. She worked in retail for various stores and shops; Nancy loved taking care of her family. Nancy was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, canning, crafting, making stained glass and sewing.

Terri L. Grierson

Beloved wife, mother and friend passed away Monday, August 10, 2020 at the Toni & Trish Hospice House surrounded by her family. Age 58 years. The daughter of the late Ronald and Kay (Kissane) Kelly, Terri was born February 11, 1962 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Christopher Grierson, her loving husband of nearly 34 years, on September 13, 1986. He survives her. Terri earned her Associates Degree at Delta College and her Bachelor’s Degree in Theology at Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan. Terri was employed as Director of Christian Service for the Diocese of Saginaw for 21 years.

Thomas M. Evon

Passed away peacefully on the morning of Friday, August 7, 2020 at Shields Comfort Care. He was 88 years old. Thomas Merle Evon was born December 5, 1931 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Mary (Merlone) Evon. He attended Saginaw High School graduating cum lade in 1949. Thomas was Junior Class president in 1948 and Senior Class president in 1949. He won letters for playing football and being a member of the state champion track team for 3 years. He met the love of his life, Irene Susalski, at a polka dance and married her on August 6, 1955 in Saginaw. Thomas and Irene celebrated 62 years together. She preceded him in death on April 27, 2018. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War, where he helped to build runways in England for United States military bases.
