Eleanor Marie Ohman

Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Friday, July 24, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. Age 89 years. Daughter of the late Joseph and Jennie (Nowak) Krys, Eleanor was born February 9, 1931 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was married to William Ohman on October 30, 1954. He predeceased her December 8, 2013. Eleanor was employed at Michigan Bell and then a nurse’s aide at St. Francis Home for 25 years. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Eleanor enjoyed cooking, reading, bowling, crafts and especially spending time with her family.

Michelle Renee Nugent

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister passed away peacefully with family by her side on Saturday, July 18, 2020, at Covenant HealthCare- Harrison. She was 64 years old. Michelle Renee McMall was born on March 13, 1956, in Saginaw, Michigan, to James Lee and Shirley Elaine (Brethauer) McMall. She was a proud 1974 graduate of Arthur Hill High School. She married the love of her life, James H. Nugent Jr. in September 1976; he survives her. Michelle was employed as the friendly front desk supervisor with K-Mart for over 30 years. She always had a smile on her face and had an innate ability to communicate and connect with anyone she served.

Rosemary Ann Henris

Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Friday, July 17, 2020 at Edgewood Assisted Living in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 90 years. Daughter of the late Joseph and Emma (Weber) Kretz, Rosemary was born May 24, 1930 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Howard Henris on September 13, 1952. He predeceased her February 7, 2017. Rosemary was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and past member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and St. Agnes Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing Bingo, going to the Casino, reading and especially spending time with her family.

Kathleen S. Moreland

Loving mother and nana passed away on their 59th wedding anniversary, Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at HealthSource Saginaw. Age 78 years. Daughter of the late Patrick and Margaret (Smith) Rowland. Kathleen was born January 16, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. She was married to Gary S. Moreland on July 15, 1961. He predeceased her June 26, 2018. Kathleen was employed at Nouvel Catholic Central as a lunch lady and worked the concession stand at St. Thomas Aquinas. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Kathleen and Gary enjoyed trips to the casino and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She had a great sense of humor. She loved meeting people and learning all about their lives.

John Henry Clark Jr.

Passed away peacefully at Ascension St. Mary's Hospital on Wednesday, July 8, 2020. He was 93 years old. John was born on March 8, 1927 to the late John H. and Maude (Lake) Clark in Ecorse, Michigan. He lived in Wyandotte, Michigan until 1941 when his family moved to the Saginaw area. John attended SS. Peter and Paul High School and was a class officer for the Class of 1945, but instead of attending his June graduation, John joined the Merchant Marines and later the U.S. Army to serve his country during World War II. While in high school, John met the love of his life, Theodota Gordon, who also shared a mutual birthday with him. After his discharge from the Army, John and “Dot” married on October 11, 1947. She predeceased him on September 17, 2012.

Francis “Red” Emeott

Beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at St. Francis Home of Saginaw. He was 98 years old. Francis Emeott was born on June 4, 1922, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Francis and Inez (Champlin) Emeott. He proudly served his country during World War II in the United States Army where he received many awards and commendations while stationed in Africa and Italy. Upon his return, he met the love of his life, Helen Betty Helm and they were united in marriage on September 25, 1948; she preceded him in death on January 1, 2012. Red was employed as a Maintenance Supervisor for over 30 years with Great Lakes Express. He was a faithful member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and a member of VFW Post #7302 Hemlock-Merrill.
