Jerry Moser
Beloved husband went to his heavenly home on December 3, 2019. He was 66 years old. Jerry was born on February 12, 1953 in Saginaw to the late James and Maxine (Schmidt) Moser. At a young age he began repairing bicycles and snowmobiles in a shop that he owned with his cousin. He then went on to work as a machine operator at Wickes Agriculture. While working there he met a woman named Sandy Kwater and told everyone that he was “going to sweep her off her feet.” They married on December 1, 1984 and had celebrated 35 years of marriage. Jerry then worked as a boat mechanic at Bay Outboard Marine. He could take any boat motor apart and put it back together. Jerry was also employed as a glazier and retired from Midland Glass Company. He was a member of Holy Spirit Parish. He enjoyed NASCAR and loved fixing things. He was a jack of all trades and would repair anything for anyone at any time. He was even a handyman for his cousin, Carolyn. Jerry was a kindhearted man that wouldn’t hurt a fly. Even with his various health issues or any pain he was feeling, he never complained. He will be remembered for his sense of humor.
Along with his wife, Sandy, Jerry is survived by three brothers, August (Tina) Moser of Dunnellon, FL, Robert (Theresa) Moser of Clearwater, FL, and Rick Moser of St. Petersburg, FL; a sister, Sally Moser of Saginaw; mother-in-law, Lucille Kwater of Saginaw; brother-in-law, Dave (Mary) Kwater of Mio; sister-in-law, Mary Beth (Tom) Dierich of Saginaw; many nieces and nephews; goddaughter, Danielle Dierich; and other relatives including a special cousin, Carolyn Keene Rapson.
He is predeceased by two brothers, John Moser and Jimmy Moser; sister, Julie Moser; and a brother-in-law, V.J. Kwater.
