Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother passed away on Monday, June 24, 2019, at Henry Ford Hospital, following a lengthy illness. He was 79 years old. Richard Frank Vitek was born on December 14, 1939, the second twin son born to the late Joe and Marjorie (Spendlove) Vitek. He was a 1959 graduate of Arthur Hill High School. Following graduation, Dick attended Delta College, before proudly enlisting in the United States Army National Guard. He married his soul mate and the love of his life, Kay “Katie” Gilbertson on November 2, 1968 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Roger City; she survives him. (for more information click here.)

Age 93 years. Margaret went to heaven on Sunday, June 23, 2019, surrounded by her family after a lengthy illness. She was born on June 13, 1926 to Clayton and Hazel (Smith) McKimmy in Gladwin County.

She married Stanley Pietras on November 27, 1948. He preceded her in death on July 25, 2007. (for more information click here.)

Passed away on June 10, 2019 at the age of 58 years.

The daughter of the late John and MaryAnne (Gambali) Bardoni on August 7, 1960 in Saginaw. She married Troy James Knowlton on January 23, 1981; he predeceased her on March 1, 2014. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Margaret was an avid outdoorswoman, enjoying fishing and camping. She also liked to play BINGO and go to the casino. Beloved sister and aunt passed away Thursday, February 7, 2019 at St. Francis Home. Age 85 years. The daughter of the late Albert and Esmerelda (Beirle) LeFevre, Mary Alice was born January 21, 1934 in New Baltimore, Michigan. She attended Ss. Peter & Paul High School in Saginaw and later earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from Central Michigan University and the American University in Washington, D.C.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Road in Saginaw. Visitation will take place Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Rev. Fr. Peter Gaspeny will officiate. Interment of cremains will take place in New Baltimore, Michigan.
