Paul E. Dearinger
Beloved brother, uncle and special friend passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024 after a brief illness. Age 83 years. Son of the late William and Ruth (Muir) Dearinger, Paul was born August 2, 1941 in Rushville, Indiana. He married Judith Kendall on September 2, 1994 and they enjoyed 23 years of marriage before Judys’ passing on June 30, 2017. Paul was a proud Army veteran and member of VFW Post 7302. He was a employed by General Motors for 32 years before retiring in 1994. Paul was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. He enjoyed playing cards, cooking, maintaining his perfect yard and visiting with his neighbors.
Paul is survived by two brothers, Wayne and Rosemary Dearinger of Florida; Danny and Sara Clevenger of Alabama; brother-in-law, Ken and Barb Kendall; and his special niece, Kendra and Dan Voell. Paul became “Uncle Paul” to his extended family THE SZURANS, Ce (Cecelia), Drew, Tracy, Andrew William and Zoey, “We will miss him”. Special thanks to Jim Andres and all his wonderful and caring neighbors for their kindness. Paul also loved his pets and will be missed by his dog Cecekay and his cat Jadiekay. Paul was preceded in death by his son, David Dearinger.

Funeral Liturgy will take place 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Rd., Saginaw, Michigan. Rev. Fr. Peter J. Gaspeny will officiate. Entombment will take place in Chapel Hill Mausoleum with Military Services conducted by the U.S. Army and American Legion Post #439. Friends may visit at the church where the family will be present on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until time of Mass.
