Richard Daniel Foley

Our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 19, 2022 with his family at his side. Age 92 years. Son of the late Daniel and Louise (Albosta) Foley, Richard was born November 1, 1929 in Saginaw, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of American Legion Post #439. Richard married Catherine McBain, his loving wife of 50 years on October 4, 1952. She predeceased him May 8, 2003. Richard retired from Saginaw Steering Gear after 40 years of service. He was a scout master for Troop #285 in Bridgeport, Michigan for many years. Richard was an avid golfer, Michigan State fan and Tiger baseball fan. (click here for more information) 

Dorothy Olive Flattery

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Saturday, January 15, 2022. She was 91 years old. Dorothy Olive Quaderer was born on March 3, 1930, in Maple Grove, Michigan to the late Aloysius and Agnes (Indelhofer) Quaderer. She was a proud 1948 graduate of St. Michael’s High School in Maple Grove. Dorothy’s love story began at a dance where she met the love of her life, Kenneth T. Flattery. They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on June 13, 1953; he preceded her in death on September 23, 2010. She was a lifelong, faithful, and founding member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. (click here for information)

Barbara Ann Fabus

Barbara was born in Bannister, Michigan on April 24, 1938, the daughter of Steve and Mary (Chmiko) Fabus.  She graduated from Elsie High School with the class of 1956 and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education at Central Michigan University.

  Barb was an Elementary Teacher for forty years and worked part-time at Sears for thirty-five years.  She was a member of St. Cyril's Catholic Church in Bannister and Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Saginaw.  She was also a member of SEA, MEA, NEA, and the Red Hat Society.  She enjoyed volunteering at Covenant Harrison Hospital in Saginaw, MI, and Covenant Visiting Nurse Association Hospice. Patrick F. Houlihan

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022 surrounded by his family. Age 79 years. Son of the late Francis P. and Agnes (Peterson) Houlihan, Patrick was born April 16, 1942 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Nancy J. Knapp, his loving wife of 59 years, on February 24, 1962. She survives him. Pat was co-owner and operator of Houlihan Brothers, owner of P. and A. Construction, and owner of Houlihan’s Olde Thyme Roadhouse retiring in 2006. He was a devout member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council #8808 and past member of the Fordney Club. (click here for more information)

Diana Jean Bogard

Beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at her home. Age 70 years. The daughter of the late Kenneth and Rosalie (Rondo) Ackley, Diana was born on August 4, 1951 in Shields, Michigan. She married Timothy Bogard on July 9, 1971. He survives her. She enjoyed crafts. Diana’s life was centered around her family, especially her grandchildren. Diana was a parishioner at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. (click here for more information)
