After a long and fulfilling life, Carsten A. Gosen (Cart) passed away on July 29, 2025, at the grand age of 102. Cart was born on May 28, 1923, in Kochville Township, MI to the late Frederick Gosen, Sr. and Lena (Cammin) Gosen. During the Great Depression his family moved to Spaulding Township where they bought virgin soil in the Little Prairie. This was the beginning of many happy memories for Cart. His father taught him the skills he would need to become a successful farmer and at home he took joy in listening to the church radio with his mom or hearing his grandmother, Sophia Gosen, tell him and his brother, Buck, bedtime stories. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family July 26, 2025. Age 87 years. Daughter of the late William and Margaret (McInnis) O’Brien. Sue was born on January 24, 1938, in Saginaw, Michigan. She was a 1956 graduate of Sacred Heart High School. She married William H. MacLachlan, her beloved husband of 67 years, on January 11, 1958. He was born in Saginaw, MI on December 2, 1937 to the late Jack and Dolores (Verdusco) Romero in a home on Fitzhugh St. that was razed to facilitate I-675, which he was okay with as the demo occurred while no one was in the house at the time. He is survived by his sister, Theresa Mikusek, Millington, MI. His sisters Raquel Romero and Anita Ochoa and his brother Roberto Romero went to the Promised Land ahead of him.
