Jacqueline "Jackie" Buska

Devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister went to be with the Lord on Sunday May 24, 2026. Age 93 years. Daughter of the late William and Clara (Zolinski) Parker, Jacqueline was born April 30, 1933 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married her loving husband of 66 years, Richard J. Buska, on May 7, 1955. He predeceased her on April 13, 2021. After Richard suffered a disabling workplace injury resulting in the permanent loss of his eyesight, Jackie was his loving, devoted and unselfish caregiver for over 50 years. Jackie was a devout Catholic and a member Holy Spirit Catholic Church, attending Mass every Sunday while guiding Richard to receive Holy Communion weekly. Jackie had a deep love for music, gardening, camping, and spending time with her family, especially her Grandchildren. Her quiet yet strong demeanor was ever present.

Surviving to cherish her memory are two sons and one daughter, Michael and Janice Buska, Saginaw; Kathleen and Larry Allen, Spring Texas; Tim and Linda Buska, Saginaw; eight grandchildren, Beth and Will Cederberg, Laurie Buska, Ryan Allen, Elizabeth and David Quintanilla, Tyler and Tori Allen, Kyle and Brianna Allen, Bradley Buska and Emily Buska: six great-grandchildren; her sister Judith and Richard Gunther, Saginaw; many nieces, nephews and friends, especially Clayton and Carolyn Nolan. Jackie was predeceased in death by one brother, Donald “Bob” Parker and her sister, Dorothy Kelso.

Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Rd, Saginaw, Michigan. Rev. Fr. Peter Gaspeny will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church where the family will be present on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass. Those planning an expression of sympathy may consider memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd.
