The daughter of the late Vern and Faye (Allen) Bergey was born on December 2, 1949, in Saginaw. She graduated from Bridgeport High School, the class of 1968. Phylis attended Delta College after graduating. She married Thomas H. Allardyce on November 24, 1973, at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Saginaw; he survives her. (click here for more information)
Beloved father, grandfather and companion passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Covenant Medical Center Cooper. Age 85 years. Son of the late Claude and Ann (Bogard) Ostrander Jr., Claude was born April 14, 1941, in Saginaw, Michigan. He served proudly in the Army National Guard and was member of American Legion Post #439. Claude was a proud small business owner. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, past President of the Fordney Club, Ambassador of the Saginaw County Chamber of Commerce, former chairman of the Saginaw Township Business Association, and board member of the Saginaw Bay Yacht Club. Michael was born on December 8th, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan to the late Aloys Joseph and Catherine Bridget (Sullivan) Grohman. Michael was a 1956 graduate of Shrine of the Little Flower High School in Royal Oak, attended the Sacred Heart Seminary in Detroit, and furthered his education attending night school at the University of Detroit Mercy for 6 years to obtain a degree in Business Administration in 1965, which he paid for by himself. Carol was born on February 10, 1953, in Owosso, Michigan, the daughter of the late Gilbert and Mary (Koviak) Sutter.
