Jaime Michelle Schaefer

Loving wife, daughter, sister and special friend passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at her home with her family at her side. Age 49 years. The daughter of Debra (Sutorik) Kline and the late Thomas Kline, Jaime was born March 17, 1977, in Saginaw, Michigan. She was a 1995 graduate with honors at Freeland High School. She married Eric J. Schaefer on May 21, 2021. He survives her. Jaime was a realtor at NextHome Park Place Homes for 12 years. She attended Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Jaime was a director for the Mentor Club for Royal Family Kids Camp and also attended Teen Reach Adventure Camp. She was a member of Midland Board of Realtors and served on different committees. Jaime enjoyed gardening, kayaking, camping, hiking, crocheting, and especially spending time with family and friends.

 Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband Eric; her foster daughter, Madisyn Tolles, Missouri; her mother, Debra Kline, Bay City; her mother-in-law, Barbara Schaefer, Freeland; sister, Angela Kline, Bay City; many nieces and nephews, Keegan, Kaleb, Kalizay, Karliah, Katana and Kristopher; her aunt, Geraldine Wagner; brothers-in-law, Ron and Krista Schaefer, Thomas Twp.; Scott and Dana Schaefer, Bay City; two best friends, Leah Phillips, Beaverton; Kelly Garety, Midland; her Godchildren, Eliana Powell and Whitney Garety; and her fur babies, Belle and Taleulah. Jaime was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Kline; her father-in-law, Gary Schaefer and a brother-in-law, Jeff Schaefer.

 Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Rd., Saginaw, Michigan 48609. Rev. Fr. Peter J. Gaspeny will officiate. Honoring Jaime’s wishes, cremation will follow. Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
