Eugenia Annie Juister

A loved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022, with family and her beloved cat “Prinnie” by her side.

Annie had an iron will and led a full and interesting life. She loved to travel and visited many parts of the world with her mother, Nana. Her favorite places included Greece, Turkey, a Panama Canal cruise, and a Disney cruise with her daughters and grandchildren.

She graduated with a teaching degree from Lock Haven University in Elementary Education and taught for many years. After raising Kym and Stephanie, she decided to go back to school and obtained a Master’s degree from Western Michigan University in Speech Pathology. She enjoyed her second career and loved her patients as much as they loved her. (click here for more information)

Michael Francis Lynch

Beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and friend went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at University Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 60 years. Michael was born on December 19, 1961 in Saginaw, the son of Pauline (Krueger) Lynch and the late Ralph Thomas Lynch. He was a 1980 graduate of Swan Valley High School. Following graduation, Michael attended Central Michigan University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH, and Saginaw Valley State University where he received Master’s Degrees. Mike had an amazing career including, EDS, Atrium as the Vice President of IT, First American as Director of Performance, PETCO as Vice President of IT, and Insight Global as a government consultant to Leidos. Marie (Lawrence Mary) Markel, IHM

Sister Marie Markel, IHM, died Sunday, April 10, 2022, at the IHM Motherhouse health care center after sixty-five years as IHM Sister Lawrence Mary.

Born Marie Elaine Markel on Sept. 19, 1935, to Lawrence and Mary (Smith) Markel of Marine City, Michigan, she grew up with a sister and six brothers on the family farm on Markel Road and many aunts, uncles and cousins in the near vicinity. Marie attended Holy Cross Elementary and graduated from Holy Cross High School. (click here for more information)
