The son of the late Elmer and Veronica (Kissane) Teall, John was born on May 5, 1929, in Midland, Michigan. He moved to Merrill, Michigan at a young age. John married Catherine A. Garrett on June 4, 1949, at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She preceded him in death on March 29, 2018. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and was active with the Knights of Columbus for many years. (click here for more information)
