Charles "Charley" Bradley

Beloved husband, father and grandfather celebrated his heavenly birthday with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 25, 2023. Age 87 years. The son of the late Alex and Agnes (O’Brien) Bradley, Charley was born on November 25, 1936 in West Mahanoy Twp., Pennsylvania. He married Mary Andrea Gnatkowski on May 18, 2002. She survives him. Charley attended the United States Naval Academy and then attended and graduated from the University of Detroit. He was employed for the County of Saginaw as Director of Information Service and was instrumental in implementing personal computers in the governmental buildings. He retired in 1998 after 19 years of service. Charley was proud of his Irish heritage and, of course, was an avid Notre Dame fan. He enjoyed golf and his sense of humor will be greatly missed. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.


Surviving besides his wife Andrea are four children, Tim (Patrice) Bradley, Holly Springs, North Carolina; Pete (Stephanie) Bradley, Bingham Farms, Michigan; Mike (Krisann) Bradley, Leewood, Kansas and Mary Beth (Greg) Marlow, Port Perry, Ontario; Charley also welcomed another son, Matt (Dana) Haller, Battle Creek; 16 grandchildren, Jacob, Emma, Alyssa, Will, Alex, Drew, Ben, Max, Grace, Tom, Luke, Alyssa, Drew, Merry, Josie and Savannah; five great-grandchildren, Jack, Grace, Luke, Donnie and Colton; his former wife, Sheila Bradley, Brighton; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Elaine Schnepf and Ron Gnatkowski; many nieces and nephews. Charley was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Lou McGinty and a son, Robby Haller.

Honoring Mr. Bradley’s wishes cremation has taken place. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Rd. Rev. Fr. Peter Gaspeny will officiate. Friends may gather at the church where the family will be present on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd.
