Gerald Frederick Quinn

Beloved husband, father, and grandfather went home to be with the Lord on June 25, 2021 at the age of 83 years.

Gerald was born on August 20, 1937 in Saginaw, MI to the late John Gerald and Mary Barbara Gubry Quinn. He married Lisa Lindsay. Gerald served in the U.S. Marine Corps and worked as a licensed master mechanic. He retired from General Motors in 1999. Gerald was a master of all trades and gifted to be able to repair, build, and tinker with anything. Gerald was a devoted husband and father. His passion was spending time with his family and his love of being a mechanic and working on cars.

Gerald is survived by his spouse Lisa Louise Quinn (Lindsay); his children: Teresa (Christopher) Thompson, Jerri Lynn (Jim) Rohde, Michelle (John) Cary, Marianne Gulley, Andrea (Michael) Bresser, Amanda Hartley, Aaron Quinn, Stephen Quinn, Kelly Stachura, Michael Quinn, 30 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and his sister Joan (Jack) Sawinski.

He was predeceased by his parents, his son John Quinn, grandson Nicholas Fisher, brother Lawrence Quinn, sister Jean Card, and son-in-law Kurt Hartley.

Funeral liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 1, 20201 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Rd. Fr. Peter J. Gaspeny will officiate with military burial at St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. lead by Mrs. Kathy Myles. Friends may also visit at the church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral liturgy. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the wishes of the family.
