Adolphia Cline

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 3, 2024 in Henderson, Nevada. Age 90 years. The daughter of the late Frederick and Frances (Bennett) Duma, Adolphia was born on March 21, 1933 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Harold “Sonny” Cline on January 22, 1949. He predeceased her on December 19, 1999. In her younger years, Adolphia worked at the Twilight Drive In in Saginaw Township. Later she worked in Skilled Trades at Saginaw Steering Gear for 30 years retiring in 1996. She was very active in U.A.W. Local #699 serving on many committees and also sat on the retirees committee. Adolphia was a long time member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. She and her husband Sonny enjoyed traveling and wintering in Georgia. Her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren including great-great-grandson, Noah whom she spent a lot of time with playing games.


Surviving are a son, Jerry (Janet) Cline, Hemlock; a daughter-in-law, Patsy Cline, Griffon, Georgia; 12 grandchildren, Chris (Jodi), Corey (Shelly), Shawn (Geri Lynn), Christina, Mandy, Sarah (Archie), Jeremy (Robin), Todd (Theresa), Rachael (Bernardo), Melissa (Wynn), Wayne (Kayla) and Jennifer; 40 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Adolphia was preceded in death by her children, Michael Cline, Bruce Cline, Brenda Wenzel and Howard Cline; a great-granddaughter, Madeline; her siblings, Dale Slusarski, Helen Weiderhold, Florence Bell, Ira Duma, Paul Duma, Ralph Duma, Arthur Duma, Charles Duma and Louis Duma.

Funeral Liturgy will take place at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Rd. Rev. Fr. Peter Gaspeny will officiate with burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit at the church where the family will be present on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd.
