Beloved father and grandfather passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Barton Woods Assisted Living. Age 82 years. The son of the late Peter and Noelita (LaBelle) Mousseau, Jim was born March 9, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan. He married Evelyn Brown on October 26, 1957. She predeceased him December 25, 2002. Jim was employed at Carlson, Dimond & Wright for 54 years. He was a past member of St. Stephen Catholic Church and a current member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Jim enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved time spent with his family.

Surviving are two daughters, one son and their spouses, Cheryl and Steve Moon, Freeland; Noelita and Mike Cicinelli, Saginaw; Jim and Neshama Mousseau, Golden, Colorado; six grandchildren, Jeremy (Lisa) Moon, Nick (Emily) LaDrig, Emily (Jon) Meyers, Tony, Joe and Pete Cicinelli; three great-grandchildren, Avery, Stella and Evelyn; one sister, Sally Vandenbossche; one brother, Pete (Colleen) Mousseau; many nieces and nephews.

Jim’s family extends their gratitude and appreciation to the caring staff of Barton Woods Assisted Living and Compassus Hospice for their loving and compassionate care.

Honoring Mr. Mousseau’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 17, 2016 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Road in Saginaw. Rev. Fr. Peter Gaspeny will officiate. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass.
