Beloved husband, father, son, brother and uncle passed away suddenly Tuesday, November 8, 2016. Age 52 years. The son of Edwin and Arlene (Larrucea) Danilowicz, Jim was born March 22, 1964 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Kathleen Busch, his loving wife of 20 years, on August 10, 1996. She survives him. Jim graduated from Ss. Peter & Paul High School 1982 and earned his Associates Degree from Delta College. He was employed at Hammond Drives for 20 years. Jim was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of Saginaw Field & Stream. Jim enjoyed his daily walks with his wife Kathy, gardening, yardwork, time spent outdoors especially camping and spending time at the cottage in Cadillac. He coached numerous sports for Thomas Township, and attended all his children’s sporting events, never failing to miss one and always the loudest voice in the stands. Jim loved time spent with family and friends.


Surviving besides his wife Kathy are two children, Andrew and Ashley; Jim’s parents, Eddie and Arlene Danilowicz; two sisters, LeeAnn and Arne Larsen and their children Chelsee and Carlee; Debra Anderson and her children Grace, Luke, Joe and Janey; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jerry and Dorothy Busch; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Janice Dunn and her children Austin and Dalton, Mark and Michelle Busch and their children Alex and Matthew, Lori and Wesly Burrell and their children Rachel and Angela; also surviving are many special friends including Dan Strasz, Joe Bierlein and Luke Sommerfield.


Funeral Liturgy will take place 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 14, 2016 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Rd., in Saginaw. Rev. Fr. Peter Gaspeny will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Sunday from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. and at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until time Mass. There will be a Vigil Service 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression may wish to consider memorials to the wishes of the family.
