Evan Ross Willman (1993 - 2016)

Willman, Evan Ross Age 23, of Wheeler, passed away, Thursday, December 29, 2016 in Midland County. Evan was born April 14, 1993 in Alma, the son of, Robb and Rebecca Willman. He graduated from Breckenridge High School in the top ten of the class of 2011. He was on the all area football and baseball teams and was a state champion and national qualifier for Breckenridge FFA. Evan was currently working on his Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from SVSU. He was a member of the SVSU S.O.T.A and captain of the SVSU Rugby team and member of the Tri-City Barbarians R.F.C. Evan was engaged to Mary Iott with an August 12, 2017 wedding date at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Monroe. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and volunteered with Relay For Life . Evan enjoyed hunting, fishing and being in the outdoors. Evan lived his life to the fullest, loving those around him with his whole heart. He was larger than life, brightening every room he entered with his loud personality. Generosity was his spirit and love followed him wherever he went. He is survived by his parents, Robb and Rebecca Willman, fiancee Mary Iott, brother Ian Willman, grandparents, Jack and Carmen Willman, John Salmons, Jan Salmons, aunts and uncles Scott and De Willman, Deborah and Patrick Clark, Kelsey and Brendan Paterson, Thomas Salmons, Jenna Salmons, cousins Logan, Bryce, Joshua, Lauren, Emma, Audrey, many friends and his hunting dog Pepper. He was preceded in death by his great great grandmother Grace McPherson, whom he shared a birthday with. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, January, 3, 2016 at 11 am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Saginaw with Fr. Peter Gaspeny celebrating. Visitation will be held Sunday from 6 to 8 pm and Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the Lux and Whiting Funeral Chapel, 156 W. Saginaw, Breckenridge.
