Diane K. Murphy, age 66, was born February 24, 1951, in Saginaw, Michigan, the second of five children, to Leon and Clara (Masica) Murphy.

She died July 4, 2017, at Huron Medical Center, Bad Axe.

Diane leaves to cherish her memory three brothers and a sister and their spouses, James (Kathy), Robert (Lori), Marilyn (Scott) and Ronald (Yoshiko), also many nieces and nephews and cousins.

Her family wishes to thank her caregiver, Dawn Conley, who along with her family lovingly cared for Diane in their home for many years.

The family is also grateful for the care Diane received at Hereford Home, Bad Axe.

We mourn the loss of her but celebrate the life she led and are thankful for the many gifts that she gave us.

Diane had limitations that would stop most of us. She could not do many of the things that we take for granted,

such as talk or care for herself. But she inspired us to try harder.

Her perspective on life taught us to be grateful for what we have and to savor the sweet moments we have each day.

Diane's greatest gift to us was her gift of unconditional love - teaching us to love even when it is not easy- to love without words or limits.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Road, Saginaw, with a 10:00 a.m. Mass, the Rev. Peter Gaspeny officiating. The family will be present at the church to greet family and friends from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be at St. Andrew Cemetery, 381 St. Andrews Road, Saginaw.
