Sacrament of Baptism

Infants

Baptisms of infants are celebrated during the fourth weekend of the month, at each of the weekend Masses.  However, sometimes we have to make changes to the schedule, so consult the church schedule before making plans.  Please call at least three months in advance of the anticipated baptism date.  Parents should be attending Mass on a regular basis.  At least one of the godparents needs to be a baptized, confirmed, practicing Catholic.  Parents are required to attend one preparation meeting, and godparents are strongly encouraged to attend this session.  These preparation sessions are scheduled monthly.  

Adults

Adults inquiring into the Catholic faith are invited to contact the parish office for more information.

Private celebration every Saturday at 4:00 p.m.  Other times by request. 

Communal celebrations are scheduled at various times during the year.

Sacrament of Matrimony

Contact must be made with the pastor at least six months before the anticipated wedding date.  At least one of the couple must be a registered parishioner.

When entering one of the hospitals in Saginaw, please register as a member of Holy Spirit Parish.  These hospitals then notify us.  When confined to home or entering a hospital outside of Saginaw, please notify the parish office.  In case of emergency, call the pastor.
